Success for the kick-off meeting of the thematic project “DUE MARI” next generation tourism development, held on 20 and 21 June 2019 in Tirana, Albania.

Welcome remarks were given by Mr. Blendi Klosi, Minister of Tourism and environment of Albania, Ms. Francesca Renzi, Project Manager, Delegation of the EU in Albania, and Mr. Davide Marcianò, Joint Secretariat, Interreg IPA CBC Italy-Albania-Montenegro.

The project state of play was presented, and objectives, outputs and work-packages were discussed by Project Partners.

DUE MARI, financed under Priority Axis 2 (Tourism and culture), wants to promote the unique cultural and natural assets of the Programme area, through a joint web platform and innovative services for new tourist routes, at the same time promoting lesser-known destinations and typical products.
